Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Plumbing Inventory Manager to lead our inventory control and supply chain operations within the plumbing and HVAC divisions. This role is vital in ensuring optimal stock levels, efficient procurement, and seamless warehouse management to support our service and sales teams. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to inventory oversight, leveraging data analytics and process improvement strategies to maximize efficiency and reduce costs. Responsibilities Oversee warehouse distribution processes, ensuring accurate inventory levels and timely stock replenishment for plumbing supplies. Manage procurement activities, including sourcing materials, negotiating contracts with suppliers, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. Conduct root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies or supply chain disruptions, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Coordinate logistics operations including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, materials handling, and heavy lifting requirements with cross-functional teams. Develop demand planning strategies to forecast needs accurately. Drive continuous process improvements by analyzing warehouse operations data, enhancing inventory control procedures, and streamlining stocking practices. Monitor financial aspects such as pricing strategies, financial modeling, and cost analysis related to inventory procurement and management. Facilitate effective communication across departments including merchandising, production planning, sourcing, and logistics teams for seamless supply chain execution. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse distribution, warehouse management systems (WMS), or supply chain analytics within a logistics or inventory environment. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of managing supplier contracts and sourcing strategies effectively. Hands-on experience with logistics operations including shipping & receiving, materials handling (heavy lifting), order fulfillment, and materials management. Technical proficiency in inventory management software combined with excellent analysis skills for inventory control optimization. Effective cross-functional communication skills to collaborate with merchandising teams, production planners, procurement specialists, and logistics providers. Strong math skills with the ability to perform financial analysis related to pricing models and cost reduction initiatives. Pay:
