Tono mai ki tētahi tūnga ki te Kaunihera o Ōtautahi About the team | Ko te rōpū nei Our Engagement Team are right in the mix of delivering the projects that are making our city stand out in the crowd. Ours is a highly visible role, managing key relationships, gathering and analysing community feedback and reporting results directly to our Elected Members. The variety the role offers is a rarity in this profession. Our engagement team work right across all council activity to ensure the communities' views are considered when developing a project and as decisions are made. About the role | Ko te mahi nei As a Senior Engagement Advisor, you will: Lead the development, planning and delivery of large-scale and complex engagement and consultation projects Use your energy, passion and positivity to drive innovation in how we connect all of our communities to Council decisions that affect them Step up to leadership and play a key role supporting the Engagement Manager to provide advice and direction to other members of the team Work closely with other business units on projects that will impact our communities About you | Ko Koe Tēnei Our ideal applicant will have: A tertiary qualification and substantial engagement experience, preferably within a large organisation An understanding of the Local Government Act and political exposure Experience developing and leading engagement projects, with a variety of audiences A creative and innovative mindset, and be keen to share their ideas with the team What's in it for you?
