Job Description
Akkodis is seeking a SSO Service Program Specialist for a Contract job with a client in Beaverton, OR . The ideal candidate must have strong experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), Program Management, Service Operations, and Technical Product Support, along with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive service readiness for complex technical products.

Rate Range:
$50/hour to $60/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. SSO Service Program Specialist job responsibilities include: Own end-to-end service readiness activities for assigned new product introduction (NPI) programs, ensuring global support capabilities are established before product launch. Develop and maintain Service Capability Assessments, Service Plans, readiness checklists, and deployment strategies across multiple regions. Lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Service Operations, and Regional Service Organizations to deliver critical project milestones. Build business cases and capital justifications for service capabilities, test equipment, fixtures, training, and infrastructure investments. Define service strategies including repair models, depot readiness, calibration requirements, field support plans, and service capability deployment. Manage service systems, ERP setup activities, bill of materials, pricing structures, service parts planning, documentation, and forecasting processes.Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related technical field . 8+ years of experience in: Program Management, Service Operations, After-Sales Support, Field Service, New Product Introduction (NPI), Technical Product Launch Management. Proven experience managing cross-functional programs within structured stage-gate or phase-gate product development environments.Strong understanding of:
Product Lifecycle Management, Service Readiness, Service Operations, Product Support, Capital Planning, Operational Excellence Experience working directly with technical engineering teams and understanding technical product requirements. Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle ERP.Preferred Qualifications:
PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum, IPMA, or related program management certification.Experience supporting:
Test & Measurement Equipment Electronic Instrumentation Calibration Laboratories Metrology Environments Experience with continuous improvement methodologies including Kaizen, Lean, Root Cause Analysis, and Operational Excellence initiatives. Knowledge of calibration accreditation standards such as: A2LA DAkkS NABL Experience supporting hardware, software, OEM, acquisition, or multi-product programs.
