Full Job Description Job Description:
Commercial Tenant Improvement Contractor in the Silicon Valley looking for a Construction Project Manager for multiple small-medium size projects.Qualifications:
- Valid California Driver's License
- Background Check Required
- Drug Testing Required
- Minimum 5 years Commercial Tenant Improvement Project Management experience required
- Minimum 10 years Commercial Construction field experience required
- Public Works Experience Preferred
- Reliable
- Leadership skills
- Communication skills
- Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/etc.), MS Project
- Proficient knowledge in the sequencing of all trades, scheduling and tracking: Metal stud framing, Drywall / Finishing, Suspended Ceiling Systems, Commercial Doors and Hardware, and Commercial Casework / Finish Work
- Organizational Skills
Detail-Oriented Responsibilities:
- Initial Job Walks
- Review Plans
- Research Vendor Solicitation
- Gather and review incoming vendor quotes
- Oversee all Site & Offsite aspects of the construction project
- Supervise site superintendents
- Report directly to and work with Senior Project Manager to maintain project schedules and budget costs
- Provide photographic documentation
- Scheduling personnel and subcontractors; maintain project schedule by monitoring progress and coordinating activities
- Troubleshooting--forecasting and resolving problems
- Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and schedule changes--recommend actions
- Observe and practice all governmental safety regulations, project requirements and company safety policies
- Walk and inspect construction site daily to verify compliance with company and OSHA safety requirements
- Post all safety bulletins, safety posters, safety rules, and applicable legislation where required
- Review and submit all RFI's and Job-Site record keeping and ensure daily "cloud-related" updates
- Communicate with owners, subcontractors, vendors, city officials, inspectors
- Encourage and motivate construction team
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship
