The Odden Lab at the Department of Epidemiology and Population Health is seeking a highly self-motivated and independent Research Project Manager to work under the direction of Professor Michelle Odden to manage, implement and administer the vision, strategy, and goals of the lab. The Odden Lab focuses on aging, cardiovascular disease and causal inference methods.
Duties include:
Managing research projects including federally funded major multi-site investigator grants and contracts. Assisting with the development of research grants, (i.e., may suggest new funding opportunities, write portions of grants, leading institutional review board protocols and submissions, and/or summarize data for grant support). Liaising with PI and lab members in preparing quarterly, semiannual and annual reports for grants. Communicating and collaborating with external PIs and their lab members to ensure successful completion of projects and timely dissemination. Coordinating scientific meetings, scheduling meetings, and developing agendas for meetings. Liaising with grants administration to coordinate submission of grants. Participating in entity/program strategy development, long-range planning, and partnership development. May contribute to and edit content for proposals, peer-reviewed publications and other program activities under direction of PI. May oversee and train student workers. - Other duties may also be assigned The expected pay range for this position is $100,023 to $124,516 per annum.
