Onsite 4 days/month; Onsite support required during go-live from mid-May through end of July and mid-October through end of the year
Duration:
7 months to start Job Description The Senior Project Manager leads large, complex initiatives and partners closely with executives, stakeholders, and cross functional project teams. This role requires advanced planning capabilities, strong leadership, strategic thinking, and mastery of project management tools. The Senior PM ensures high quality delivery while driving organizational change, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement. Candidate must be able to step into active leadership supporting Epic revenue-cycle applications and hospital billing workflows during multiple high-intensity go-live waves.
Hybrid Schedule:
Typically, 4 days on-site per month. However, On-site support is required from mid-May through the end of July, and again from mid-October through the end of the year for both go-lives. Key Responsibilities Project & Program Management Lead project start up and planning activities for small and large scale initiatives (Intermediate). Define and manage comprehensive schedules, budgets, and resource allocations (Intermediate). Proactively identify and manage scope, risks, issues, and quality throughout all project phases (Intermediate). Evaluate project performance and lead lessons learned sessions (Intermediate). Drive efficiencies and identify innovative ways to improve delivery processes (Intermediate). Effectively manage project resources (Basic). Meeting Facilitation Set clear meeting objectives and expected outcomes (Intermediate). Facilitate group decision making with confidence (Intermediate). Maintain focus and discipline during stakeholder discussions (Intermediate). Demonstrate strong executive presence (Intermediate). Tailor presentations to diverse audiences at all levels (Intermediate). Quickly read audience cues and adjust style to maximize engagement (Intermediate). Tools & Methodology Utilize organizational Project Management Systems (Basic). Demonstrate Mastery in MS Project and Visio. Deliver executive level presentations in PowerPoint (Mastery). Use Excel at a Mastery level for advanced tracking, analysis, and reporting. Apply strong capabilities in Word (Mastery) and SharePoint (Intermediate). Stakeholder Management Effectively persuade and influence stakeholders (Intermediate). Anticipate how communication and decisions affect others (Intermediate). Navigate and respond to the needs of diverse stakeholder groups (Intermediate). Serve as a trusted advisor and customer advocate (Intermediate). Consistently seek ways to drive customer satisfaction (Intermediate). Change Leadership & Communication Communicate an inspiring vision for change (Intermediate). Demonstrate optimism and support positive transformation (Intermediate). Champion organizational change initiatives (Intermediate). Establish and manage frameworks for structured change implementation (Intermediate). Personal Leadership Demonstrate self awareness and strong self management (Intermediate). Show confidence, proactive action, and strategic thinking (Intermediate). Operate with full independence and strong follow through (Intermediate). Talent & Resource Management Provide effective coaching (Basic). Support forecasting and resource utilization planning (Basic). Deliver timely, constructive feedback (Basic). Encourage skill and career development for team members (Basic). Celebrate team achievements (Intermediate). Apply situational leadership appropriately (Basic). Qualifications Extensive experience managing large, cross functional initiatives. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Mastery of project management tools and relevant Microsoft applications. Demonstrated ability to lead through change and drive organizational improvement. Experience mentoring or coaching project team members. EPIC HB Certification required EPIC Dorothy, PB, and SBO certifications are preferred.
