Full Job Description Job Overview:
Complete a Job-site Checklist for every project, with the customer's signature. Run errands as needed, such as material pickup in company vehicle. Verify that materials orders match what is being received from the supplier. Light mechanical duties as needed; such as oil changes, taking trucks to Les Schwab, checking brakes, etc. This position would entail taking trucks to appropriate third party entities. Take trucks to glass repair shops for windshield repairs as needed. Work with Yard Technician to maintain effective yard organization. Must be able to use a forklift, operate machinery, and lift at least 50lbs. Ensure hazardous materials are stored and disposed of properly. Must be comfortable driving large vehicles, such as dump trucks or box trucks. Must have a valid driver's license and clean record. Must be able to rent a vehicle, as needed. Must be willing to traveling by plane or boat. Maintain effective communication with office staff, and job-site foreman. Report any maintenance issues or potential safety issues to office staff immediately.
Requirements:
Current and valid Drivers License. Knowledge of construction materials or willingness to learn. Construction yard or warehouse experience preferred. Ability to operate forklifts and safely handle equipment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Preference for bilingual individuals who are comfortable speaking English and Spanish. Position will require work in all weather conditions. Must be available to work Friday - Monday. Must be available 8 AM — 5 PM on Fridays to help pick up materials as needed.
