Job Description

We are a non-emergency medical transportation company dedicated to safely and reliably connecting patients to the care they need. Our team coordinates and provides non-emergency transportation services, ensuring individuals can attend medical appointments on time and with confidence. By combining professional drivers, efficient dispatching, and strong partnerships with contracted trip sources, we deliver dependable service that supports both patients and healthcare providers every day. Be the Link That Keeps Everything Moving We're looking for a highly organized, proactive Dispatcher to support our drivers, assist clients, and serve as a key liaison with our contracted trip sources. As part of a growing medical transportation company, you will play a critical role in keeping daily operations running smoothly while delivering a high level of service to both drivers and clients. This is a fast-paced, high-responsibility role where communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail are essential. What You'll Do Dispatch and monitor daily trips in real time based on schedule and demand Communicate with drivers to ensure on-time performance and route efficiency Assist clients with trip updates, questions, and issue resolution Serve as the primary liaison between our company and contracted trip sources Monitor routes and make adjustments to avoid delays and service disruptions Review trips for accuracy, including pay rates, trip types, and discrepancies Maintain accurate records of trips, schedules, and operational activity Use tools like Excel and dispatch software to track, organize, and report data Step in to support operations when needed, including helping coordinate coverage during driver absences What We're Looking For Strong communication skills (phone, text, and email) Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure Problem-solver who can think quickly and make decisions independently Comfortable working with dispatch systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Experience managing or motivating a team is a strong plus Ability to work with minimal supervision and take ownership of responsibilities Experience in transportation, logistics, or healthcare coordination is a plus but not required What Success Looks Like in This Role Drivers are on time, supported, and productive Clients receive clear communication and excellent service Schedules run efficiently with minimal disruptions Trip data, reporting, and payments are accurate Issues are handled quickly and professionally Schedule Monday-Friday, 5:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. (Start at home remotely, finish in the office) Consistent early-start schedule with predictable hours What You'll Receive Paid training Paid time off 401(k) retirement plan Stable, full-time position with consistent hours Opportunity to grow into a leadership/operations role A key position where your work directly impacts daily success Additional Requirements Ability to pass state and national background checks and drug screening (including marijuana) Clean driving record Knowledge of Providence, RI and surrounding areas is a strong plus
