Job Description
Job Summary Logix Fulfillment is seeking energetic and detail-oriented Warehouse Leads to oversee daily warehouse storage, receiving & shipping operations in our ambient 3PL food grade warehouse in Vernon, CA . In this pivotal role, you will lead a warehouse staff of 3-6 and operate forklifts to unload incoming freight containers, pick and stage outgoing orders and ship products to our customers. The Warehouse Lead is essential in maintaining effective warehouse functions, optimizing material handling, and supporting overall warehouse operations to meet organizational goals. Duties Reports direct to the Logix Operations Manager Lead and schedule warehouse staff, providing clear communication and training to ensure high performance. Operate and oversee the use of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners to facilitate safe and efficient movement of goods. Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems; conduct regular cycle counts and audits. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and enforce safety protocols during all warehouse operations. Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize distribution center operations, streamline shipping & receiving processes, and improve overall workflow. Skills Forklift Certified Minimum 2-years experience in food grade warehouse storage, handling and distribution Experience and proficient in GMP and AIB International Food Standards Experience in DTC (Direct to Consumer) Fed Ex/UPS Package Shipping Transloading and Crossdocking experience Proficiency with inventory control systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and Microsoft Office tools. Familiarity with OSHA regulations, heavy lifting techniques, and materials handling safety procedures. Experience with shipping & receiving procedures, safe lifting, and the operation of warehouse equipment including RF scanners. Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred
