Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Veterinary Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong background in customer service and scheduling. This role involves managing client interactions, scheduling appointments, handling high call volume, supporting veterinary staff, and ensuring smooth clinic operations while maintaining a focus on animal welfare and client satisfaction. Duties Greet clients warmly and efficiently manage appointment scheduling using veterinary software. Assist clients with inquiries regarding pet care, treatment plans, and billing procedures, ensuring clear and professional communication. Handle medical collections accurately while adhering to all relevant regulations including DEA and USDA guidelines. Provide front desk support by managing phone calls, confirming appointments, and coordinating client flow throughout the clinic. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area, including stocking supplies and managing laboratory samples when necessary. Requirements/ Preferences Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds. Ability to handle high call volume without sacrificing customer service. Proven experience in medical settings or animal handling roles such as kennel work or pet care. Knowledge of veterinary terminology, medical-surgical procedures, and companion animal medicine is preferred but not required. Familiarity with veterinary software systems and Microsoft Office applications is preferred but not required. Pay:
$14.50 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 38.0 per week
