Duties & Responsibilities Lead 2-hour beginner-friendly handbuilding ceramics workshops on weeknights and weekends Prepare for classes, including clay prep and setup of materials and workstations Clean and reset the studio following classes Assist students with locating and picking up pottery from previous workshops Assist customers with purchases from the studio's retail section Foster a positive, welcoming learning environment that encourages creativity, experimentation, and confidence Who You Are Enthusiastic, encouraging, and comfortable guiding beginners Proactive and able to take initiative during classes and studio operations Friendly, approachable, and community-oriented Organized, reliable, and respectful of shared studio spaces Qualifications Proven pottery experience (handbuilding experience required, wheel throwing experience is a plus!) Prior teaching or workshop experience is a plus, but not required Strong communication skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with instructors and studio staff Must be local and able to work in person Application Requirements Resume.
