Video Editor

Description We are looking for a skilled Video Editor to support government-focused media production in Burbank, California. This is a Contract position for a creative individual who can shape raw footage into compelling visual stories using industry-standard editing tools. The ideal candidate brings strong post-production judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality digital video content on deadline.

Responsibilities:

• Edit raw video footage into clear, engaging final deliverables that align with project goals and audience needs.
• Use Adobe Premiere Pro to assemble sequences, refine pacing, and produce broadcast-ready or digital-ready content.
• Apply visual enhancements, motion graphics, and compositing elements in Adobe After Effects to strengthen storytelling.
• Collaborate with production teams and stakeholders to interpret creative direction and translate it into finished video assets.
• Manage multiple video projects at different stages of post-production while maintaining quality and turnaround expectations.
• Review audio, visual continuity, and overall presentation to ensure each piece meets high production standards.
• Prepare and export video files in appropriate formats for digital distribution, presentations, or archival use. Requirements
• Proven experience editing video content for detail-focused, organizational, or public-sector environments.
• Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro for timeline editing, sequencing, trimming, and finishing work.
• Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics, visual treatments, or basic compositing.
• Solid understanding of video production workflows, including post-production best practices and file management.
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality digital video content with strong visual and editorial judgment.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced contract assignment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to incorporate feedback from multiple stakeholders.
