Job Description

Dance Studio Office Staff/ Receptionist Grand Junction, CO Part-Time Starting Rate:
$16-$19/ hour Office Manager Position at Absolute Dance & Performing Arts Center 20+ hours per week
POSITION
This position would oversee the operations of Absolute Dance & Performing Arts. The studio owner will continue to provide support and guidance for all functions. There will be weekly meetings and semi-monthly reviews to help with performance. This position will require a staff member who is organized, proficient in google, excel, word, social media marketing, customer service skills, and be able to multitask. Must be self-motivated and flexible with demands that come and go with the position. Computer skills are a must. The ability to be personable and kind to both children and parents is a must. These are some of the job tasks, but not a complete list.
Phone:
Answer and respond to phone calls, fielding and making sure all calls are answered complete from message log.
Studio Director:
Daily reconciliation/ changes of all classes, follow-up with students and parents for missed waivers, payments, dropped classes, and any other changes. Manage billing invoices, payments due reminders/ phone calls. Manage trials, new student inquiries. Onsite at
Studio:
Check in with staff, employees for basic studio needs (cleaning supplies, studio supplies, repairs, wish lists). Store Inventory orders and receiving. Managing daily operations.
Marketing:
Creating Newsletters, flyers, managing website, social marketing, implementing studio procedures for performances, recitals, competitions. Average of 20 hrs/ week: Need to be at studio physically for at least 20 of those/ week, schedule will be consistent but will work to formulate a steady weekly shift with opportunities to pick up and switch with others. Days and hours subject to time of the year. You will have the luxury of having guaranteed time off on major holidays, Spring Break, Winter Break and other studio closures create flexibility to have time off negotiated with the studio owner. With that said, you will have some weeks where more time is needed from you (30 hrs/ week)
