Responsibilities Plan and execute age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development for infants. Supervise and support assistant teachers and caregivers to ensure high-quality care and education. Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment that adheres to licensing regulations and best practices. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Ensure compliance with all mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare. Lead classroom management efforts to foster positive behavior and healthy interactions among children. Implement health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to respond effectively to emergencies. Document daily activities, developmental observations, and incident reports accurately and thoroughly. Requirements Proven experience working with infants in daycare centers or early childhood education settings. Knowledge of childhood development principles, infant care techniques, and classroom management strategies. Certification in first aid, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), and pediatric first aid is required; ongoing training preferred. Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration. Familiarity with special education needs or experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
