Job Description

The Learning Tree Child Development Center is looking for a caring, dependable, and nurturing Infant Teacher to join our team. We are seeking someone who genuinely enjoys working with infants and is committed to providing a safe, loving, and educational environment where children can learn and grow. Responsibilities Provide attentive, responsive, and nurturing care to infants Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment Plan and participate in developmentally appropriate activities Support infants' social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development Follow daily routines for feeding, diapering, sleeping, and play Communicate effectively with families regarding their child's day and development Maintain accurate classroom records and documentation Follow all center policies, procedures, and state childcare regulations Work cooperatively with other teachers and staff Support children's individual needs and developmental milestones Qualifications Previous experience working with infants preferred Experience in a licensed childcare setting is a plus Must be dependable, patient, and responsible Must have a genuine love for working with young children Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude Must meet all applicable Tennessee childcare licensing requirements About The Learning Tree The Learning Tree Child Development Center has been serving children and families for 23 years.
