Key Qualifications:

Meet Highly Qualified Paraprofessional requirements via either: Successful completion of the MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam (MN Para Educator Exam) At least 60 college credits, with transcript documentation (Diplomas do not suffice) Experience or strong desire to work in Special Education environments with significant behavioral and developmental needs Willingness and ability to assist with toileting and personal care Must be comfortable, confident, and reliable in high-needs settings Open to serving students from elementary to high school (please specify any age preferences)

Responsibilities:

Provide direct support to students in a Setting 4 special education context throughout the full school day Collaborate with educators and support staff to deliver individualized educational and behavioral plans Assist with personal care tasks, including toileting, as required by students Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment Maintain detailed records and communicate progress as directed Commit to a 32.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, during the contract period (September 8, 2026 June 10, 2027)
