This contract position involves working as a paraprofessional in a specialized Setting 4 site, delivering dedicated assistance to students receiving full-time special education services. The role spans all grade levels, from elementary through high school, fostering both learning and personal growth in a highly supportive setting.

Key Qualifications:

Must meet Highly Qualified (HQ) statusone of the following is required prior to submission: Passing score on the MN Para Educator Exam (attach results) At least 60 college credits (attach official transcripts) Previous experience working as a paraprofessional or in a similar support capacity strongly preferred Comfortable in an environment supporting students with significant behavioral and developmental challenges Willingness to assist with toileting and other personal care responsibilities as part of daily duties Flexibility to work with students across different age groups (elementary to high school) Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

Provide direct instructional and behavioral support to students in a Setting 4 special education classroom Implement individualized strategies, following guidance from licensed teachers and therapists Assist with personal care needs, including toileting, as required for student support Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning atmosphere Track student progress and communicate observations to teaching staff Participate in all required training and team meetings As a valued professional in this role, youll enjoy a consistent Monday to Friday schedule, 32.5 hours each week, and the opportunity to become a direct employee after the initial contract period. Pay is set at $20/hour.
