Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Valid state licensure in Special Education (or ability to obtain before start) Bachelors degree (minimum) in Special Education or related field Experience working with diverse students and disability categories Strong knowledge of IEP processes, modifications, and accommodations Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Familiarity with evidence-based instructional strategies and classroom technologies
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Tailor lesson plans to align with students unique learning goals and abilities Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment promoting growth and self-confidence Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families Collect data on student progress and report findings as required Adapt materials, methods, and assessments to ensure accessibility and engagement Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities As an educator in this role, youll be supported by a network of professionals who value your expertise and commitment.
