Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract position supporting young learners in a center-based elementary environment for the 2026-2027 school year. As a Special Education Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing direct instruction and programming for students with a variety of emotional or behavioral needs. This full-time role offers a rich, collaborative environment and the chance to grow professionally while serving a caseload of approximately 11 elementary students.
Key Qualifications:
Current Minnesota PELSB Special Education Teaching License (Tier 1 and Tier 2 accepted, preference for Tier 3 or Tier 4) Licensure in Emotional or Behavioral Disorders (EBD) required Experience working with elementary-level students in a special education setting preferred Skilled in adapting curriculum, implementing IEPs, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and organizational abilities Flexibility to adapt to fluctuating caseload numbers and diverse student needs Must be able to provide proof of licensure and a recent resume
