Job Description

Bring your passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs to an impactful Special Education teaching opportunity in an elementary school setting! This contracted full-time position runs through June 11, 2027, and is a fantastic chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners. You'll work on-site, guiding students with a range of disabilities each school day in a collaborative, nurturing environment. What you'll need to succeed: Current Washington State Special Education Teacher Certification Previous experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably in varied disability categories Strong classroom management and differentiation skills Ability to foster inclusivity, engagement, and a positive learning environment Adept in individualized education program (IEP) planning, documentation, and implementation Committed to effective communication with students, families, and colleagues Core responsibilities: Design and deliver tailored instruction to meet the unique needs of each student Develop, implement, and track progress on IEPs in collaboration with the special education team Modify curriculum and adapt teaching methods to address individual learning styles Engage in data-driven decision making to continually advance student growth Build relationships with families and collaborate with general education staff and specialists Maintain accurate, compliant records and attend IEP meetings as required Interviews will be held promptly.
