Key Qualifications:

Meet one of the following:

• Associate's degree or higher
• At least 60 college credit hours
• Passing score on a state-approved paraprofessional assessment (such as ParaPro) Prior experience in school-based settings, especially as a paraprofessional or educational assistant, is highly valued Confident supporting students with ASD, EBD, or more significant needs Skilled in managing behaviors (PBIS, ABA, CPI, etc.

) Comfortable providing personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including toileting Excellent communication skills and aptitude for teamwork

Responsibilities:

Deliver support in a center-based classroom for students with special needs Work with students individually and in small groups to support academic and behavioral growth Assist with daily living activities as needed, guided by students' IEPs and accommodations Cooperate with educators, therapists, and related service staff to foster student achievement Help maintain a positive, structured, and supportive environment This role calls for dedication, adaptability, and empathy, ensuring every student's needs are met in a nurturing setting.
