Job Description

Help empower student success as a dedicated paraprofessional supporting learners in a dynamic school environment near Andover, MN. This contract role offers opportunities to make a meaningful difference throughout the 2026-2027 academic year, with immediate openings available. Paraprofessionals will work either in resource or center-based settings, collaborating closely with educators to support students' academic and personal growth.
What you bring:
A minimum of 1 year of experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting High school diploma or equivalent, plus ONE of the following pathways: At least two years of college credits (typically 60 semester hours) from an accredited institution An associate's degree or higher Passing score on an approved basic skills assessment (such as 455+ on the ParaPro Assessment or 65%/70% on ParaEducator tests) Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment Effective communication and collaboration skills Adaptability and a nurturing approach with students of varied abilities Your responsibilities: Assist lead teachers in delivering engaging instruction and providing classroom support Reinforce learning activities and modify materials as needed for individual student needs Support students throughout their daily routines, including academic tasks and personal care Promote a safe, productive, and inclusive learning atmosphere Collaborate with educational team members and help implement individualized educational plans (IEPs), as applicable This role offers consistent hours—33.75 each week—through June 2027, allowing you to build connections with students and staff.
