Job Description

Shape your impact as a Special Education professional supporting elementary students in a collaborative cluster classroom environment. This full-time contract opportunity runs from November 1, 2026, through February 15, 2027, providing meaningful continuity for a group of students with diverse educational needs. You'll work alongside a dedicated team of three paraprofessionals, focusing on supporting learners within a center-based DCD/ASD setting.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
Valid Special Education Teacher licensure Experience in center-based classrooms, specifically with DCD and/or ASD populations Familiarity with strategies for differentiated instruction in a cluster model Strong communication skills for collaborating with paraprofessionals and other specialists Commitment to creating a supportive, inclusive learning environment for students with significant needs Ability to work a full-time, in-person schedule (no virtual or hybrid)
Your Role Will Include:
Designing, adapting, and delivering individualized lesson plans aligned with IEP goals Leading a classroom team consisting of three paraprofessionals to implement student supports Monitoring progress and maintaining comprehensive records for a caseload of 10 students Fostering functional, social, and academic growth within a structured classroom community Communicating with families and multidisciplinary team members regarding student progress Creating a positive, predictable environment that encourages student engagement and self-advocacy
