Ideal candidates have:

At least one year of experience as a paraprofessional within a school environment A high school diploma or equivalent One of the following educational requirements: Completed at least two years of college coursework (60 semester credits from an accredited institution) Hold an associate or higher degree Passed an approved basic skills test, such as the ParaPro Assessment (score of 455+) or ParaEducator assessments (65% Instructional Support, 70% Knowledge and Application) Responsibilities include: Supporting teachers with classroom management and instruction in resource or center-based settings Assisting with the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) Fostering a positive, inclusive classroom culture Aiding students with academic tasks and personal care needs when required Maintaining clear communication with teachers, staff, and families This role offers a guaranteed 33.75 hours each week, allowing you to develop meaningful rapport with the students you serve while advancing your experience in special education and academic support.
