Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Take your passion for supporting students to the next level in a dynamic contract opportunity as a Paraprofessional for the upcoming school year. This role offers the chance to work with a dedicated team, providing academic and behavioral support to students in both resource and center-based settings. With a variety of caseloads, this position is ideal for adaptable, empathetic education professionals eager to make a tangible difference every day.
What you bring:
At least one year of experience as a paraprofessional within a school environment High school diploma or equivalent required One of the following qualifications: Completed at least two years of college credits (typically 60 semester credits) from an accredited institution An associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university Passing scores on an approved assessment (ParaPro Assessment with a minimum of 455, or ParaEducator assessments with at least 65% on Instructional Support and 70% on Knowledge and Application) Strong communication skills, with an ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and students A patient, adaptable approach and a genuine enthusiasm for helping students succeed In this role, you will: Provide one-on-one and small group support to students Assist teachers with classroom instruction, activities, and classroom management Support students with a range of academic, social, and behavioral needs in both resource and center-based programs Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and other learning strategies Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment Here's your opportunity to be an integral part of students' lives, build valuable experience, and work in a supportive school culture through June 2027.
