9686177-55070 Job Description Embark on a highly impactful contract role as a Special Education Teacher in a center-based elementary school setting. This opportunity spans from now until early June 2027, providing you with the chance to work with a dedicated team and support a caseload of approximately 11 elementary-aged students (enrollment numbers may adjust slightly throughout the assignment). Working full-time, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional instruction and care to students with diverse learning needs.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Active Minnesota PELSB Special Education Teaching License (Tier 1 or 2 acceptable; Tier 3 or 4 highly preferred) Licensure endorsement in Emotional or Behavioral Disorders (EBD) required Experience or strong interest in center-based elementary special education Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment Strong communication and collaboration skills with colleagues, students, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction and behavioral support to students identified with EBD in a center-based setting Develop, modify, and track IEPs for assigned students in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and interventions tailored to student goals Perform ongoing progress monitoring, record-keeping, and data-driven reporting Maintain proactive communication with families and team members to ensure cohesive support for each student
