Duties Perform detailed diagnostics and repairs on smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other consumer electronics across various operating systems including Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows. Utilize hand tools, soldering equipment, schematics, and specialized testing devices to troubleshoot hardware issues such as damaged screens, faulty batteries, or malfunctioning components. Conduct hardware maintenance tasks like replacing screens, batteries, charging ports, and other internal components with precision. Support software troubleshooting by updating firmware, restoring device settings, and resolving operating system conflicts to ensure optimal device performance. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and offering technical support for mobile devices and personal electronics. Use analysis skills to identify root causes of hardware or software issues quickly and accurately. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings to ensure quality control and accountability. Qualifications Proven experience with mobile device repair including smartphones (troubleshooting support), tablets, laptops, printers or copiers. Strong knowledge of Android and iOS operating systems as well as macOS and Windows platforms. Skilled in hardware diagnostics, electrical soldering, using schematics for troubleshooting complex issues. Familiarity with computer hardware components such as motherboards, processors, RAM, storage devices and peripherals like printers or copiers. Ability to use hand tools effectively for delicate repairs involving electrical soldering or equipment repair. Excellent analysis skills combined with a customer-focused attitude to deliver technical troubleshooting support efficiently. Experience in field service or retail sales environments is a plus but not required. Strong technical proficiency with consumer electronics repair standards and safety protocols.
