Lead Electrical Designer

Description Lead the design and development of electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical sub-systems and components, ensuring alignment with project goals and regulatory standards. Provide daily leadership support and mentorship to the technical design team. Oversee the creation of design specifications and test procedures, ensuring thorough documentation and compliance. Utilize CAD software to generate complex electrical systems, harness designs, and schematics, providing guidance and support to the design team. Coordinate and document tests on electronic components and sub-systems, ensuring accuracy and efficacy. Collaborate with suppliers and in-house personnel on the development and enhancement of sub-systems and components. Integrate marketing specifications and regulatory agency requirements (UL, IEC) into comprehensive sub-system designs. Liaise with manufacturing teams to support production parts and pilot builds, ensuring design integrity. Manage information on production parts using SAP and oversee BOM changes. Approve and release ECNs (Engineering Change Notifications) for new parts and drawing revisions for prototypes and production. Skills & Qualifications Associate's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Electro-Mechanical Technology required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. 5+ years of electrical/electronics design experience, with supervisory experience strongly preferred. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Ripon, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
