Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM-5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch Automotive Launch Engineer Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Program Management, or a related field. Relevant experience in automotive manufacturing, engineering, or manufacturing processes. Solid understanding of manufacturing and product-development principles. Knowledge of automotive components, production equipment, tooling, and inspection fixtures. Experience supporting new-product launches, industrialization, or production ramp-up activities. Familiarity with PPAP, trial-production approval, and automotive quality processes. Strong project coordination, planning, and risk-management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business software. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility. About the Automotive Launch Engineer Role Crown Staffing is seeking an Automotive Launch Engineer for a direct-hire opportunity in Hollyvilla, KY. This position coordinates new-product launches from equipment and tooling arrival through trial production, ramp-up, and final project acceptance. Manage launches for new, cross-regional, and facility-relocation projects. Monitor project deliverables and ensure compliance with established project-management processes. Identify launch risks and coordinate resources to support successful project completion. Organize trial production and part-quality planning during production ramp-up. Lead cross-functional meetings involving Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Equipment, and Tooling teams. Track and resolve material, engineering-change, production, and customer-quality concerns. Improve production capacity through cycle-time optimization, employee development, and process-layout improvements. Coordinate trial-production approvals and supplier and customer PPAP documentation. Support the resolution of customer concerns involving incoming materials, vehicle assembly, road testing, and audits. Review launch costs and promote effective communication between global teams and business units.
