About the Position Turley Associates is seeking an experienced Survey Technician who enjoys solving complex boundary problems and producing high-quality surveying documents. This position is ideal for someone with extensive office surveying experience who can independently research, analyze, and prepare boundary documents with minimal supervision. This is not simply a drafting position. We are looking for someone who understands land boundaries, deeds, legal descriptions, plats, and the technical side of professional surveying. Responsibilities Research property ownership and recorded documents Retrieve deeds, plats, easements and survey records from county databases Analyze chains of title and deed conflicts Plot deeds and prepare boundary exhibits Prepare legal descriptions and field notes Draft subdivision plats, replats and record plats Prepare survey exhibits Coordinate plat submittals with municipalities and counties Support Registered Professional Land Surveyors in project delivery Review survey documents for accuracy and completeness Organize project records and maintain survey files Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of office surveying experience Strong understanding of Texas boundary law and deed interpretation Experience preparing legal descriptions and field notes Experience preparing subdivision plats Ability to independently analyze complex boundary situations Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D or Carlson Familiarity with county recording systems and title research Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills Able to work independently with minimal supervision Must have a valid Drivers License
