This role is essential in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our manufacturing and administrative facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, electrical experience, and familiarity with schematics and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). They will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting complex systems, and supervising maintenance activities to uphold high standards of safety and operational excellence. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a well-organized, proactive maintenance environment that supports continuous production and facility integrity. Duties Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to minimize downtime. Troubleshoot and repair equipment using schematics, electrical diagrams, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Operate and program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimize automation processes. Perform welding tasks and residential painting as needed to maintain facility aesthetics and safety standards. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, schedule inspections, and document maintenance activities. Supervise junior technicians and coordinate maintenance schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks. Maintain accurate electrical records, schematics, and technical documentation for systems under repair or upgrade. Assist with manufacturing facility maintenance by supporting machinery calibration, alignment, and safety checks. Lead small teams during major repairs or upgrades, demonstrating leadership skills in a fast-paced environment. Ensure compliance with safety regulations by adhering to protocols related to electrical work, welding, and general facilities upkeep. Support customer service initiatives by addressing internal client requests promptly and professionally. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial environments. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical experience; familiarity with schematics is essential. Hands-on skills in welding, residential painting, and general repairs. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and troubleshooting automation systems. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and understanding electrical diagrams. Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting. Supervising experience leading maintenance teams or projects is preferred. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination. Ability to interpret technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately. Demonstrated leadership qualities with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality assurance.
