Level Up Bowl & Bistro is an exciting new venue designed to create unforgettable experiences for families and friends. Spanning over 26,000 square feet, it will be one of the largest family entertainment centers (FEC) in the South Bay area of Los Angeles. With a variety of attractions such as bowling, arcade games, projection darts, golf multi-sports, a full-service restaurant, a lively outdoor patio, and more, Level Up promises an unmatched entertainment experience for people of all age groups. Position Summary:
The Food & Beverage Manager will oversee all day-to-day food and beverage operations, including restaurant service, bar operations, labor management, inventory controls, food quality, guest experience, and team leadership. This role requires a strong operational leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining operational excellence and financial discipline. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable leading service teams, improving systems and processes, coaching staff, and driving revenue growth. Key Responsibilities Restaurant & Bar Operations Oversee front-of-house restaurant and bar operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences Ensure consistent execution of food and beverage standards Monitor restaurant flow, seating, service speed, and guest satisfaction Ensure compliance with all operational procedures and service standards Actively support floor operations during peak business periods Guest Experience & Service Excellence Maintain a high standard of hospitality and guest engagement Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally Monitor guest feedback and online reviews to identify opportunities for improvement Implement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and repeat business Team Leadership & Staff Development Recruit, interview, onboard, train, and develop restaurant and bar staff Lead pre-shift meetings and establish clear expectations Coach employees on service standards, upselling, and hospitality Manage employee performance, accountability, and disciplinary actions when necessary Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and accountability Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with all health, sanitation, food safety, and alcohol service regulations Maintain cleanliness and organization standards Ensure all staff follow safety procedures and company policies Qualifications 5-7+ years of restaurant or hospitality management experience required Experience managing restaurant operations strongly preferred Proven leadership experience in high-volume hospitality environments Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment Strong organizational and multitasking skills Experience with POS systems and restaurant reporting Knowledge of California food safety and alcohol compliance standards Food Handler Certification and/or ServSafe certification preferred Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable: Boutique entertainment venues Sports bars Bowling centers Family entertainment centers (FEC) Schedule Requirements Full-time hourly position Nights, weekends, and holidays required. Typical schedule would be Thursday to Monday, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off.
