Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of our growing commercial glass and door company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing accounts, and supporting the company's financial health through proper reporting and cost tracking. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) Perform job costing and track project expenses (labor, materials, subcontractors) Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and company transactions Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support CPA with tax filings Track invoices, payments, and outstanding balances Assist in payroll processing and expense tracking Identify cost-saving opportunities and financial inefficiencies Qualifications Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in construction or commercial glass industry Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks or similar) Knowledge of financial reporting and reconciliation processes High attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Associates and or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred but not required with experience)
Pay:
From $31.00 per hour
