Position Summary:
Reporting directly to the Opp distribution facility Office Manager and Controller, the Division Accounts Receivables Clerk will perform various accounts receivables and financial reporting duties for the distribution facility's paying vendors and customers.Duties include:
- Posting collections
- Processing credits
- Customer Relations
- Filing Skills & Attributes
- Demonstrated ability to comprehend and communicate accounting terminology
- Ability to manage one's own time with the help of supervision and to manage payment to vendors in a timely manner
- Active listening and critical thinking skills
- Personable and patient to be able to interact and support other accounting staff members
- Strong computer skills including MS office, especially Excel
- Be a self-starter and take initiative, such as implementing more efficient processes
Experience and Education:
- Preferrable to have 1-2 years of accounting or receivables experience
- Experience using efficient Excel functionalities
