Job Description

Position SummaryA growing government contractor is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead accounting and finance operations. This role is responsible for financial reporting, internal controls, government contract compliance, indirect rate management, proposal pricing support, and overall financial leadership. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting expertise with deep knowledge of federal contracting requirements.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end/year-end close.

Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning activities.

Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and scalable financial processes.

Manage indirect rates, including Fringe, Overhead, and G&A, along with forecasting and provisional billing rates.

Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, DCAA, and other government contracting regulations.

Support incurred cost submissions, government audits, and financial reviews.

Monitor contract funding, labor utilization, revenue recognition, and project profitability.

Support proposal development through pricing models, cost proposals, labor rate calculations, and BOE documentation.

Oversee invoicing, collections, and revenue cycle management.

Lead and mentor accounting staff while driving process improvements and system enhancements.

Partner with executive leadership, program management, and business development teams on strategic financial initiatives.
