Front Desk / Bowling Lane Attendant Reports To Palm Springs Lanes General Manager Location Palm Springs Lanes | 68051 Ramon Road, Cathedral City, CA 92234 Hours Part-Time / Full-Time, Monday - Sunday Job Overview To provide guests with prompt, efficient, courteous service, and ensure that maximum utilization of lanes and equipment is realized through efficient control of the flow of guests. Responsibilities and Duties Greets guests and informs guests of center services, promotions, and prices Manage the waiting list for lanes Properly assign guests to lanes based on the guest service model Cleans and sanitizes shoes upon return Visually inspects and maintains quality of rental shoes Maintains safe work environment and maintains safe environment for guests Handles complaints, using judgment as to which ones to refer to management Keeps alert for rowdy guests who may be disturbing other guests Notifies Mechanic or Technician promptly of any mechanical failures Handles cash and transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures Counts cash drawer per company procedures Provides friendly, courteous, polite, and helpful guest service Assists guests with automatic scorers and bumpers Reports emergencies to proper authorities Instructs bowlers on proper use of automatic scorers Answers customer questions Removes chipped and cracked bowling balls from racks as needed Removes bowling balls from ball return and returns to ball racks Qualifications Be friendly, polite, and professional Retail and cash handling experience a plus Able to lift 10-20 pounds for short periods of time
