We provide specialized educational and therapeutic services to children and adolescents (Pre-K through 12th grade) with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and co-occurring diagnoses. In 2025, we opened a newly renovated, state-of-the-art facility in Arvada, CO, featuring two outdoor playgrounds, a full gym, and an advanced sensory room. Our interdisciplinary team includes BCBAs, Special Education Teachers, LCSWs, RBTs, and Mental Health Assistants, with BCBAs maintaining small caseloads and staying on-site for real-time clinical support. Role Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (37.5-40 hrs/week)
Compensation:
$25.00-$30.00/hour (based on experience, education, and certifications)
Location Type:
100% center-based (no travel or remote work) Time off: Paid Holidays (7 Days), Sick Leave (48 hours per year) PLUS Paid Center Closures (5 weeks a year)! Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) work directly with students under the supervision of a BCBA to implement individualized ABA treatment plans. This is a highly supported, center-based role, every RBT works alongside an on-site BCBA trainer and receives structured, ongoing clinical supervision. We're currently hiring for two programs: Secondary Program (Ages 12-18) : Support adolescents in developing advanced social skills, daily living skills, self-advocacy, and vocational readiness. Transition Programs (18-21) : Support young adults in developing advanced social skills, daily living skills, self-advocacy, and vocational readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct ABA services based on individualized treatment plans Collect and record accurate data using CentralReach Write objective, professional session notes Use Safety Care de-escalation and physical intervention procedures (full training provided) Respond to behavioral crises as needed Support students with personal care and daily living activities Participate in field trips and community outings (company vehicle provided) Maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment Attend team meetings and professional development sessions Collaborate with teachers, clinicians, and other interdisciplinary team members This role requires the ability to: Run, kneel, pivot, and lift up to 40 lbs Transition repeatedly between seated, kneeling, and standing positions Respond physically during behavioral crisis situations (training provided)
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a Behavioral Science field (ABA, Psychology, Social Work, Education, or related) OR a High School Diploma/equivalent plus 4 years of related experience CPR and First Aid certification Ability to pass local, state, and federal background checks Ability to pass a TB test and occupational physical (company-paid) Reliable transportation to and from work Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfort using a company-provided device for documentation Preferred Qualifications Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Experience working with individuals with ASD or intellectual/developmental disabilities Experience managing challenging behavior Familiarity with CentralReach Valid Colorado driver's license Training & Support 2+ weeks of paid initial onboarding before working independently (paid at full hire rate) RBT certification and re-certification (company-paid after 90 days!) Safety Care crisis prevention and physical intervention training Trauma-informed care and cultural competency training Ongoing supervision and professional development On-site full-time BCBA trainer and Safety Care trainers Compensation & Benefits Medical, Dental & Vision insurance through Anthem Health Savings Account (with eligible plan) 401(k) with company match, plus financial wellness support Paid Time Off and Sick Leave Paid holidays!
