Key Qualifications:

Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Valid Delaware PARA Permit Prior school-based experience highly preferred, especially in elementary settings Background in supporting students requiring physical intervention, when appropriate Proven ability to collect and manage behavioral and instructional data Willingness to participate in bathroom-related and hygiene assistance duties for students Dependable in maintaining a full-time, 37.5-hour week (8:45 AM - 4:15 PM, Monday through Friday; no part-time schedules, late starts, or early departures permitted)

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct support to students within an autism program, implementing behavior plans and instructional strategies Assist with data collection and reporting to monitor progress and inform team decisions Participate actively in all classroom routines, including physical intervention strategies and hygiene assistance as needed Support classroom transitions and be prepared for shifts in assignments based on school requirements Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other team members to promote student success Maintain clear and professional communication with staff and families This contract position offers the opportunity to be at the heart of a supportive educational team and deepen your experience with behavior intervention and data-driven practices.
