This contract opportunity calls for a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or qualified paraprofessional to work in a supportive and engaging school environment near Blue Springs, MO. The position runs from now through May 28th, focusing on providing day-to-day behavioral support and fostering positive learning experiences.

What You Bring:

Active RBT certification (or strong para background with behavior focus) Previous experience in school or behavioral settings, especially with autism or special needs populations Flexibility to adapt to changes, as assignments within the school may shift as needs arise Willingness to complete fingerprinting as per district requirements Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families

Your Day-to-Day:

Deliver one-on-one and small group behavioral interventions based on student IEPs and classroom plans Work closely with teachers and school specialists to monitor progress and adapt strategies as needed Collect accurate behavioral data and maintain documentation in accordance with district standards Contribute positively to the classroom environment, encouraging student participation and social skills development Participate in professional meetings and training as requested Communicate with supervising BCBAs and broader district support teams Why This Role?
