Key Qualifications:
Active LPN/LVN licensure and nursing experience in school or pediatric settings Demonstrated skill and comfort working with students who have severe disabilities and complex medical needs Proficiency with G-tube feeds, seizure management, and daily medication administration Experience with Hoyer lifts, diapering, and assisting with personal hygiene for multiple students Strong communication and organizational abilities Professional demeanor, collaborative spirit, and a passion for supporting students with autism and significant medical conditions
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver compassionate nursing care and medical support throughout the academic day Safely manage and document medication administration and other medical tasks Respond decisively to medical emergencies, including seizure intervention and ongoing monitoring Engage positively with both students and fellow staff, fostering a respectful and supportive environment Participate actively in team meetings, care planning, and coordinating with families and specialists Assist with physical needs such as G-tube feeding, toileting, and lift transfers This is an ASAP start, running through 5/26/27, offering the chance for those who are motivated and empathetic to make a meaningful difference every day.
