Job Description

Job description We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dental team for a long-term position . The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, works well with the doctor and team, provides excellent patient care, and is comfortable learning and using modern dental technology. Experience with 3D intraoral scanning is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Assist the dentist during restorative, surgical, implant, and general dental procedures. Take and prepare digital X-rays and diagnostic images as directed. Perform 3D intraoral scans and accurately capture digital impressions. Assist with digital dentistry workflows, including scanning and submitting cases to dental laboratories when needed. Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all necessary instruments and materials are available. Maintain proper infection control, sterilization, and OSHA standards. Set up and break down operatories efficiently between patients. Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation. Take dental impressions, bite registrations, photographs, and other diagnostic records as needed. Assist with implant, crown, bridge, denture, and other restorative procedures. Monitor and maintain dental supplies and notify management when supplies need to be ordered. Provide a welcoming and professional experience for every patient. Follow office policies, clinical protocols, and safety procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment. Work closely with the doctor, hygienists, front office, and other team members to ensure smooth daily operations. Qualifications Current California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license. Current required certifications and permits applicable to the position. Previous dental assisting experience preferred. Experience with 3D intraoral scanners is highly preferred. Comfortable learning and using digital dental technology. Strong understanding of infection control and sterilization procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy dental environment. Strong attention to detail. Professional, positive, and patient-focused attitude. Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
