What We Offer Competitive hourly pay 401(k) with 4% employer contribution match Health expense reimbursement Paid time off and holidays Paid meetings and continuing education Opportunities to learn and assist with unique pediatric procedures, including infant frenectomies, intraosseous injections, and IV sedation Qualifications 1+ year of chairside dental assisting experience required Pediatric dental experience preferred Current BLS, Jurisprudence, Radiography, Infection Control, OSHA, and HIPAA training required Nitrous certification recommended Dependable, friendly, thorough, and team-oriented Responsibilities Assist pediatric dentists with exams, cleanings, operative appointments, consultations, and other procedures Prepare treatment rooms and instruments according to OSHA standards Take dental X-rays while following radiation safety and infection-control protocols Accurately document medical histories, treatment plans, and appointment notes Educate children and parents about oral hygiene and post-treatment care Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality Assist the administrative team with phones and scheduling as needed Help guide children's behavior and create a positive, confidence-building dental experience Interested in learning more?
