Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our private PPO only dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients while ensuring their comfort and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating oral health issues, as well as educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health conditions. Perform a variety of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns. Utilize infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Fabricate dental appliances and prosthetics as needed, demonstrating proficiency in dental fabrication. Provide endodontic and prosthodontic treatments with precision and care. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on preventive care, treatment options, and the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene. Collaborate with assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient office operations. Requirements Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license with no restrictions. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dentistry and oral health. Experience in infection control practices within a dental office setting. Familiarity with electronic health records systems such as Epic is preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.
