This role supports the Director of Dietary with staff supervision, regulatory compliance, and maintaining a positive dining experience that meets resident needs and preferences. Assistant Director of Dietary Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations of the dietary department, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory Collaborate with the Registered Dietitian to ensure nutritional needs are met Maintain compliance with state, federal, and local regulations Develop and implement menus that meet therapeutic and cultural needs Train and supervise dietary staff to uphold sanitation and service standards Coordinate with nursing and administrative teams to support resident care plans Monitor food safety protocols and conduct regular audits
Assistant Director of Dietary Qualifications:
ServSafe certification preferred Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory dietary role, preferably in long-term care Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Knowledge of DOH regulations and dietary compliance standards We are an equal opportunity employer.
