We work with adults, children, and families to increase communication and social skills, improve relationships, increase circles of support, and provide therapeutic services based on best-practice research. We believe that people can change, and we work to empower each individual in their own care. NAFI Rhode Island Ridge Street program is a secure home for female adolescents, ages 13-18, who are working through mental health and behavior challenges. Our residential program is designed to provide the structure, care, and community support needed to help young women grow, heal, and thrive. We are currently looking for a highly skilled and dynamic leader. The Program Director will provide visionary leadership, overall quality assurance and clinical insight to achieve the vision and goals for the program's impact on youth and families.
Responsibilities Include:
Knowledge of and experience with DCYF and Residential systems Knowledge of adolescent development Ability to demonstrate strong leadership and supervisory skills Demonstrated ability to organize, direct, plan and coordinate operations within a clinical setting Leadership skills, including mediation, problem solving, decision making, delegation Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, staff, community groups and individuals, and other related agencies Effectively manage competing demands in high level environments Knowledge and respect of the diverse culture and life-style Supervision and professional development of the members of the team, including youth counselors and supervisors Oversight of daily operations of the milieu Ensure the program is aligned with agency mission, vision, and values respond to agency and funding sources initiatives Communication and advocacy with families, funding sources, and licensing representatives Oversight and management of program budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility Development of and adherence to program and agency policy
• Participate in agency leadership and development Responsible for overall programming and daily operations

Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required, Master's preferred At least 5 years of experience in a managerial/leadership role
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$68,000 - $73,000 per year
