We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). As a DSP, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities by providing direct care and support in various settings, including residential homes and community settings.Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in accordance with their individualized care plans and goals.
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Support individuals in accessing community resources and participating in recreational and social activities.
- Foster a safe and supportive environment that promotes independence, dignity, and self-determination.
- Document individual progress, incidents, and observations accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain professionalism and adhere to ethical standards and agency policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and compassion.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
