Job Description

The Patient Care Assistant - General Resource Team (Float Pool) position works under the direction of a Registered Nurse to assist in delivery of patient care including personal hygiene and daily activities transporting patients and equipment, setting up and maintaining patient rooms, and reordering/stocking of supplies. Responsible for coordination of communications and procedures for the nursing unit, process electronic orders and assembling patient's charts and other necessities.
Work Schedule:
24 hrs. weekly/0.6FTE; 11:00pm-7:30am, every other weekend
Required Qualifications:
Must have one of the following: High school diploma or equivalent HS Diploma in progress and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry Equivalent work experience in lieu of HS diploma or equivalent may be considered Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
CNA experience HUC or unit clerk experience Microsoft office experience Prior experience in acute care or hospital setting Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry
