This contract opportunity offers a chance to apply your clinical skills while working closely with education professionals and families to ensure the student receives the best possible care.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid Minnesota LPN license
• Active CPR and AED certification
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with pediatric patients or students
• Demonstrated expertise in tracheostomy care and suctioning
• Experience in school, pediatric, or home health settings strongly preferred
• Ability and willingness to accompany the student on the school bus to and from home
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach
• Reliable documentation practices and attention to detail

Your Role:

• Deliver individualized nursing care and supervision for a 7th grade student throughout the school day
• Monitor and perform tracheostomy care and suctioning according to the healthcare plan
• Follow, implement, and document the student's care as detailed in their individualized healthcare plan
• Ride the bus with the student as part of their transportation needs
• Actively participate with the Health Services team, school staff, and the student's family to support the student's education and well-being
• Maintain thorough daily records of care, interventions, and observations
• Provide high-level support tailored to a student with complex medical and developmental needs This position runs through the academic year—37.

5 hours per week in line with the school calendar. You'll be part of a dedicated, multidisciplinary team committed to helping every student thrive.
