Overview :

Freedom Recruiting has an opening for a medical assistant at an independent, physician owned medical practice in the nursing department.

Location :

Palmyra PA, on-site

Schedule :

Full-time, 40 hours /week with rotating shifts & rotating

Saturday's Compensation :

Sign on bonus + hourly rate based upon experience

Summary :

 Reporting to the nursing supervisor, working directly in patient care performing duties within the scope of practice for a medical assistant.

• Must have certificate/diploma from accredited MA training

Responsibilities :

• Hands on patient care → Vitals and testing including but not limited to EKG's, spirometry, phlebotomy and lab cultures
• Injections
• Assisting physician during exams when needed
• Daily use of EMR, reviewing & updating patient information
• Organize, clean & restock exam rooms

Requirements:

• Must have certificate/diploma from accredited MA training

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
