As the Business Office Manager, you will play a vital role in keeping our nursing home running smoothly, efficiently, and with a strong focus on our residents and their families. You'll play a vital role in the facility operations by bringing organization, professionalism, compassion, and leadership to the daily financial and administrative functions as the Business Office Manager. Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the business office, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and excellent customer service. Manage resident billing, accounts receivable, collections, payments, and financial records. Assist residents and families with billing questions, insurance information, and account concerns with patience, compassion, and professionalism. Work closely with Medicaid, Medicare, insurance companies, vendors, and other outside agencies. Maintain accurate and confidential resident and financial records. Support payroll, employee records, accounts payable, purchasing, and other administrative functions as assigned. Prepare reports and documentation while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. Partner with the Administrator and leadership team to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and financial performance. Serve as a welcoming and dependable resource for residents, families, employees, and visitors. Collaborate with clinical, dietary, housekeeping, and other departments to support the overall success of the facility. Protect resident privacy and confidential financial information at all times. Bring a positive, solutions-focused attitude to the workplace and help create a culture where residents and employees feel valued.
